The Impact of Storage on Semantic Segmentation

This paper details the impact that the WekaIO file system, WekaFS, has on semantic segmentation workflow when used alongside HPE Apollo servers, NVIDIA® GPUs, and Mellanox InfiniBand networking as part of a complete solution. NVIDIA leads the industry with GPU advancements that allow data scientists to build increasingly complex models with massive training data sets. Mellanox provides the high-speed networking, and WekaFS provides the high-performance storage throughput as well as the shared file system necessary for cluster computing.
