Covid-19 has put an onus on human resource (HR) departments to ensure the well-being of employees and navigate either their return to work or their ability to work remotely.
The aim, of course, is to ensure the workforce’s productivity and the long-term sustainability of the business. But HR departments have found that working toward both goals has put more demands on their ability to address employee experience (EX) concerns. “With the pandemic, employers have been offering more benefits to their employees, which is an expansion of the human resources charter,” says Barbry McGann, executive director, office of CHRO solution marketing at Workday, a company that creates software for financial and human capital management.
